Tariq Starr says ain't nothing like "The One"!

On March 23 Tariq Starr will release an online exclusive 7 track EP, including the promo single “Chips Up, Money Up” and the fan favorite “Rock & Step”, which will be an all new version for 2010. Even though Starr is not completely done with the final product, he promises, “Yall will have it on your computers, in your ipods, cd players, whatever music device you use; it will be available that day.” The One EP is a full sampler of the LP, giving you a sneak peek of what you can look forward to on the LP, which is tentatively scheduled for a Summer 2010 release. “I’m giving you everything from Pop, R&B, Hip-Hop, A little Soul, man I’m just trying new things and perfecting this craft of mine.” He also hints on what “The One” means to him, “The One is basically telling the story of finding the right thing, The One, whether it’s a chic, a job, a car, friends, or whatever. It touches on a lot of things, but I’m single and it’s nothing like having a special someone in your life.” Along with the 2 previous leaked tracks, the other 5 tracks are never heard before new material from Starr. “The One” EP will be available for download on some of the popular Urban Blogs and a special download link via Twitter.
